Look What Lorelei Made

Lorelei created this beautiful necklace using one of my tree pendants, mother of pearl rings, czech glass, labradorite, sage amethyst, frosted glass rice and a toggle from ad adornments.
Circles are one of my favorite shapes, they hold a very powerful mystique for me. I like the way she uses them here: the small circles forming the larger circle.

Check out her shop on Etsy. She uses so many interesting textures and shapes in her jewelry. There is always something unexpected, she will include an interesting color or shape that just captivates me.

Jazz and Spain

Monica, an author and jewelry designer asked me, (me!?!) to create a pen for her to use at her book signing. Her book is about Jazz and she wanted a jazzy pen. I had never made a pen before, but she was willing to let me take a shot at it. This is what I came up with and it's on its way to Spain.
Wish I was.

Ent-Wise

Take a look at this beautiful necklace and earring set.
Catherine purchased one of my tree pendants from my Etsy shop and featured it in this incredible necklace of golden tiger's-eye. She wrote that she chose the rectangular beads because they had the look of wood grain. She calls the piece "Ent-Wise". I love that.
I wish I could post a link to a blog or website but she doesn't have either. Her work is sold through art galleries and shows. I will certainly post more pictures as I receive them. She makes me look soooo good.

Halloween

It's MINE, all MINE! I bought myself a little something from
ChickieGirlCreations.etsy.com. I don't know what it is about this face, but I fell in love and knew I had to have one. It is beautifully made, she is truly talented. This one is mine, but her Etsy shop is full of other gorgeous art to wear.
The trouble with Etsy and Polymer Clay Artist Guild of Etsy is that I meet all these extremely talented people and then I need to buy things from them.

This is my entry for the Polymer Clay Artist Guild of Etsy October Challenge: MASKS

You can visit http://www.pcagoe.com/ and take a look at all the other entries and vote for your favorite. All the voters are entered into a drawing to win a prize package created by Guild members. The voting begins October 26, 2007.

I'm a member of the Polymer Clay Artists Guild of Etsy, every month we have a challenge within the group and ask anyone who is interested to come and vote for their favorite.
The challenge this month was to create something insired by a favorite book. Choosing a favorite book was enough of a challenge, but I managed.
Visit http://pcagoe.com/ and take a look, place a vote if you like. All voters are entered to win one of the two prize packages. Voting is open until midnight (EST) September 28.
