Ent-Wise

Take a look at this beautiful necklace and earring set.
Catherine purchased one of my tree pendants from my Etsy shop and featured it in this incredible necklace of golden tiger's-eye. She wrote that she chose the rectangular beads because they had the look of wood grain. She calls the piece "Ent-Wise". I love that.
I wish I could post a link to a blog or website but she doesn't have either. Her work is sold through art galleries and shows. I will certainly post more pictures as I receive them. She makes me look soooo good.

Halloween

It's MINE, all MINE! I bought myself a little something from
ChickieGirlCreations.etsy.com. I don't know what it is about this face, but I fell in love and knew I had to have one. It is beautifully made, she is truly talented. This one is mine, but her Etsy shop is full of other gorgeous art to wear.
The trouble with Etsy and Polymer Clay Artist Guild of Etsy is that I meet all these extremely talented people and then I need to buy things from them.

This is my entry for the Polymer Clay Artist Guild of Etsy October Challenge: MASKS

You can visit http://www.pcagoe.com/ and take a look at all the other entries and vote for your favorite. All the voters are entered into a drawing to win a prize package created by Guild members. The voting begins October 26, 2007.

I'm a member of the Polymer Clay Artists Guild of Etsy, every month we have a challenge within the group and ask anyone who is interested to come and vote for their favorite.
The challenge this month was to create something insired by a favorite book. Choosing a favorite book was enough of a challenge, but I managed.
Visit http://pcagoe.com/ and take a look, place a vote if you like. All voters are entered to win one of the two prize packages. Voting is open until midnight (EST) September 28.

I'm early, but I'm the boss of my blog

I'm a little crazy about Halloween.
I'm also a real luddite when it comes to new tech stuff (it's usually old tech before I even see it) Anyway, I found this site that transforms your photos. It may have been around for awhile but it is new to me.

http://http//www.dumpr.net let me do this funky treatment to my photos and now they are full of Halloweeny-goodness.

Jewelry Designer: BestFaceForward.etsy.com

If you can't find any tree pendants in my shop, chances are jewelry designer Kathryn Marie of BestFaceForward has purchased them. She sent me this photo of their new, happy home. (I'm very attached to my pieces)

She takes my very rustic, organic pendants and adds some real sparkle. She creates very different looks with her seemingly endless supply of beads. You can visit her at her Etsy shop:http://www.bestfaceforward.etsy.com. You will find some beautiful jewelry and a nice person too! I'm all for nice, I like nice. Nice is good.
